Botanical Garden parkrun
What is Botanical Garden parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
When is it?
Every Saturday at 8:00am.
Where is it?
The event takes place at Pretoria Botanical Garden, 2 Cussonia Ave, Pretoria, 0186. Please note that if you do not bring your barcode along you will have to pay to enter to the Botanical Garden. Due to the large number of participants people have to park far outside the premises. We therefore continuously urge participants to arrive early to avoid being turned away or required to pay entry fee, if arriving after 08:00. Please also note that the gates close at 8:00. Unfortunately due to the nature of the Garden, NO dogs are allowed. See Course page for more details.
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register before you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it, you won't get a time.
How fast do I have to be?
We all take part for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!
Botanical Garden parkrun needs you!
It is entirely organised by volunteers - email firstname.lastname@example.org to help.
Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in the MilkPlum café inside the Botanical Garden grounds (this is not free) - please come and join us!
