This week 264 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 49 were first timers and 57 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

Male placings:
Wayne LABUSCHAGNE (SM20-24) (Unattached) was first over the line in 20:08 - second time in 12 appearances.
Brett VAN STADEN (SM18-19) (Unattached) was second over the line in 20:08 - has been first to finish on 8 previous occasions.
Ian VAN DER MERWE (JM15-17) (Unattached) was third over the line in 20:10.

Female placings:
Joanne VAN DER WALT (VW40-44) of Team Vitality, was first (11th overall) over the line in 23:57 - first time in 2 appearances.
Thea-Mari FRANKEN (SW30-34) (Unattached) was second (15th overall) over the line in 24:44.
Brenda WESI (VW45-49) of Born 2 Run Athletics Club, was third (22nd overall) over the line in 25:55.

The three highest age grades were recorded by:
Stix DE JAGER (VM60-64) – 77.89% for the time 20:35 (4th overall).
Adriaan VAN DER MERWE (JM11-14) – 69.96% for the time 21:15 (6th overall).
Ian VAN DER MERWE (JM15-17) – 69.01% for the time 20:10 (third overall).

The female record is held by Nadia POTGIETER who recorded a time of 00:18:13 on 8th July 2017 (event number 23).
The male record is held by Brett VAN STADEN who recorded a time of 00:17:10 on 1st April 2017 (event number 9).
The Age Grade course record is held by Nadia POTGIETER who recorded 87.65% (18:13) on 8th July 2017 (event number 23).

Valhalla parkrun started on 4th February 2017. Since then 3,809 participants have completed 10,091 parkruns covering a total distance of 50,455 km, including 2,418 new Personal Bests.
