1st Birthday Celebrations !!!

Betty's Bay parkrun is turning 1 year old, and we would love for you to come along on the 16th March and celebrate with us! – there will be lucky dip prizes, music and general fun for all!
The special breakfast offer will be available from Disa Restaurant on site.
Saturday 16 March at 08h00 for a fun, 5km run/walk/jog at Harold Porter Botanical Gardens!
Dress code: Bright, Colourful, Flamboyant and Crazy!! And of course it wouldn't be a celebration without balloons and party hats.
Bring your friends and your family, and make sure you don't miss out on all the fun.

 

Christmas Day – Our Festive Event

Please note that Betty's Bay will be hosting a Christmas day parkrun on  25 December 2018 to start at 08h00.. . All are welcome and encouraged to dress up in Christmas spirit. Come along and join us for some festive fun.

This week 300 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 152 were first timers and 30 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 15 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to Nicol Hoare who ran her 50th parkrun at Betty's Bay parkrun!

The female record is held by Marion SERFONTEIN who recorded a time of 21:28 on 17th March 2018 (event number 1).
The male record is held by Unknown ATHLETE who recorded a time of 18:58 on 7th April 2018 (event number 4).
The Age Grade course record is held by Reece FINEGAN who recorded 82.47% (20:38) on 28th April 2018 (event number 7).

Betty’s Bay parkrun started on 17th March 2018. Since then 1,013 participants have completed 1,880 parkruns covering a total distance of 9,400 km, including 297 new Personal Bests.

 

#02 Betty’s Bay parkrun – 24 March 2018

After the euphoria of the the launch last week, the number of participants came down to 185. Representatives of 15 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to Heidi Stander who ran her 100th parkrun in this beautiful location!

The Age Grade course record is held by Caspar GREEFF who recorded 77.80% (29:17) on 17th March 2018 (event number 1).

Betty’s Bay parkrun started on 17th March 2018. Since then 491 participants have completed 648 parkruns covering a total distance of 3,240 km, including 35 new Personal Bests.
