Volunteers and feedback wanted
Roodepoort parkrunis in need of volunteers to help with tasks such as timekeeping, barcodescanning and setup. We urge all participants to volunteer at parkrun once in awhile so that everyone gets a chance to take part as a runner. As a volunteer,you also get to accumulate points!

New start time for South Africa parkrun
Please don't forget that parkrun SA has a new start time as of this Saturday, 15 September 2012. The starting time is 8 a.m. This will certainly mean a more pleasant start in our hot summer months and give us a more time to get things done on Saturday after parkrun.

What? …there is life after Comrades?
Believe it or not, but the Comrades Marathon is NOT the only race on our calendar. With very few races on the go for the rest of the month, you are invited to join us at Roodepoort parkrun every Saturday at 9am. Come along this weekend and share your "war stories" with us. Lets get the legs moving again and stretch out those stiff muscles. Remember to bring along your barcode and join us after the run for coffee! If you are not up to running yet, we would appreciate your help as a volunteer and you may still have your Comrades bragging rights.
